My prediction: Fed won't lower rates tomorrow. Powell will wait until the next FOMC after Trump's inauguration. Trump always pressures Powell to lower rates no matter what, so Powell will wait. Trump has also said that he would let Powell finish his term. This means Powell probably won't give Biden a final rate cut to spur the economy upwards. He'll save it for Trump.
