    1. "After the disconnection plans were announced, propaganda campaigns cropped up on social media and in printed leaflets in city streets that issued fake-news warnings about blackouts, severe energy shortages and sky-high energy bills for consumers." – I wonder if switching off cheap electricity and replacing it with more expensive electricity will cause this to happen? Seems that this decision will end up causing European citizens in the Baltics to pay more money for energy based on what has happen with sanctions on Russian oil and gas to Europe.

Strange that the Euro(Not)News reportage did not touch on these concerns.

    2. The begining of the end. Today is the start of bankruptcy. Going against economic laws is a recipe for disaster. Ask Germany, they are going through bankruptcy with more factories foreclosing. Tesla may need to shutdown soon.

    3. Lol… Talk about an epic strategic mistake! They have been ripping us off since the beginning of this war. Energy prices are unsustainable… But sure, let's posture!

    4. Many people are misunderstanding this news story a bit. The fact that Baltic countries are desynchronizing themselves from the Russian power grid does not mean that the they received their electricity from Russia. They used Russian power system only to maintain the grid frequency.
