At this point they just need to put grants on a 4 yr cycle that starts with the presidency. If each president is going to shit can everyone’s research contracts when they walk in the door why go through the excruciating process of grant applications. Every time GOP gets elected we can just study why oil is healthy to burn and why vaccines are so terrible for you.
