Today Buffett on Trump’s Tariffs:“Trade can be an act of war It has led to bad things the attitudes that it has brought out… we should do what we do best and they should do what they do best…I do not think it’s a great idea where a few countries say ‘hahaha we won” and other countries are envious.”

That’s about as upset as we’ve seen Mr. B.
See Japan China Smoot Hawley
this is someone with a full brain says. we have an idiot clown in the white house. all the publicans voted for this 🤡 and he’s gonna bankrupt this country like hes done to so many of his [companies.] (https://imgur.com/m0zu4q2)
he said it’s not good to design a world based on capitalism (capitalizing on smaller countries)….because the countries being capitalized on cam easily destabilized the world economies with nukes….it needs to be communal
what I learned from this is as Americans gain the means to EASILY disrupt the US market they will increase their voting control over their administration…..aka elected officials will actually do what they are elected to do
Believe it or not, I actually really like Buffet and Bernie Sanders at the same time. Bernie doesn’t have the best grasp on economics, but gets almost everything else right. I’m sure he’s made some bad calls too, but in general social democracy can be pretty good. Healthy regulations and oversight, third party investigations, etc. That’s all good stuff.
Buffet also speaks my lingo. I agree w his business sense and behaviors.
I’m guessing I’m not supposed to like them both.
We were really good at tobacco and cotton 250 years ago, but I’m not sure that’s the best example to use …
He bet against america
Remove the DICKTATOR from the White House!
Sharp as a tack, but looks like his health is starting to slip. He had a good run.
