Please join the Atlantic Council Global Energy Center and the Hungarian Presidency of the Visegrád Group on Monday, June 25, 2018 from 9:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. for our “Towards 21st Century Energy Systems in Central & Eastern Europe” conference, which will feature discussion and debate on the strategic and policy implications of the Trump Administration’s energy agenda and its impact on the transatlantic relationship, with special attention paid to the Central and Eastern European region.

    Vice President of the European Commission for Energy Union Maroš Šefčovič will kick off the conference with a discussion of pressing energy issues in Central and Eastern Europe, including CEE integration and Nord Stream II. Our expert panels will then discuss the impact of the US’ energy agenda on Central and Eastern Europe, innovation in Central and Eastern European energy systems, and the Southern Gas Corridor.
