The prices in the city are absolutely atrocious, I used to uber eats everything, and would be about 25$ per order. Fast forward, starting August 2nd, I started cooking and can make fairly delicious meals, I’m a fan of steaks and like to get NY strips, for example I got a pack of chicken thighs for 10$ and 5 pieces of ny strip that came out to 60$. I’d think the savings would be a lot more considering I’m wasting a lot of time cooking and cleaning as well, the meals are healthier and more protein packed, sure, you can say stop buying steaks, but then what else would I get? Just chicken over and over? I don’t like fish at all. Are you guys noticing that uber eats and grocery shopping are about coming out the same these days? Let’s hear some thoughts.
