Where can I get a bound wall calendar for free? I feel like they used to give these out at banks back in the day. But I don’t think they do anymore. Just looking for a good ol’ fashioned wall calendar. They didn’t used to be hard to get for free back in the day. But I’m having trouble finding one for free nowadays. Hoping some of you can help. Maybe car dealerships? Maybe ?

    1. A synagogue especially next month as it gets closer to the Jewish New Year. (Itll run from September 25 to October 26)

    2. What possible need could you have for a physical calendar in the digital age? You have a better, editable, customizable calendar right there on your smartphone.

    3. I just print ones off my PC using a spreadsheet and hang on the fridge with a few fridge magnets.

Otherwise, the best time of year to get the promo ones is November/December.

Some places that sell them before the new year do heavily discount them by March or April, but August is a tad late in the year to find any.

    4. I think they may not be as popular as they used to be, but plenty of people still want them. We still get too many mailed to us that we can’t use, so they get passed along. And in our area, local shops and stores like to give them out. Keeping your business name in front of people is good advertising. Whether this year will be the economic breaking point of no more frills and cutbacks, I guess we’ll see.

    5. Try your local utility, school district, or library. If all else fails, they sell calendars at Dollar Tree and Grocery Outlet so basically free.

My local small pharmacy has them. Also, places that provide insurance or funeral homes have them sometimes.

    7. I’ve gotten them from Audubon Society before, which should be accessible to anybody, and they are beautiful if you like birds at all. There may be more niche options depending on industries you may be connected to; for example, vendors for parts, fluids, and tooling at my job as a machinist send us tons and tons of wall and desk calendars.

    8. This is the wrong time of year to be looking. You should be able to find lots of them in December, January and maybe into February. Maybe try a bank?

Funeral homes often have them for free as well as many banks. My old city sent out free ones with trash dates, city sponsored events, etc. Contact your city hall. Some independent hardware stores like Ace have them.

If you’re a member of your local Buy Nothing group on Facebook, ask if someone has one to give.

    11. There¡s someone on my buy nothing group that offers up a bunch of calendars every year. I think her mom gets them from having donated to places.

    12. Mom and pop businesses. Grocery store, heating oil company.

      Print your own.

If you have a child in school the district will send a calendar

    13. My town’s Chamber of Commerce puts one together every year with the member businesses submitting local photos. It’s nice actually.

I used to live in a very small town and the local feed supply store used to put one out every year of local photos. It also was nice.
