I went through my bank statement and realized I was paying for 6 different subscriptions some I hadn’t used in months. I canceled almost all of them and instantly saved over $50 a month.

What surprised me was how painless it felt. I thought I’d miss them or feel deprived, but honestly, I didn’t. Instead, I felt like I’d given myself a small raise with zero effort.

Now I’m paying closer attention to recurring charges because they sneak up on you so easily.

how much are you saving each month by cutting subscriptions (if any)?

Cutting my subscriptions was the easiest money I ever saved.

    1. Same! My complex recently switched out Internet provider, and with that we got Netflix and a local streaming service for free. We dont pay any extra per month with the switch. That’s about 25 usd!

We try to keep on one streaming service at a time, and use it until we have seen what we want. Then we end it and go to whatever service have a show we want to see.

    2. I cut out a lot of expenses 2 years ago and all that happened was I felt more free. Even though I cut so many expenses it was funny because I did not really notice a decline it life. In fact some things like eating out I kind of looked back on it as kind of burdensome. I general both eating out and the subscription type of things were the easiest for me to cut. It is funny because before I was like line go down or flat line and once I just cut a few things it was like line skyrocket upward.

    3. After my prepaid cell service wouldn’t reduce my data plan I canceled it. 25 more a month, I pay Microsaft 7 a month for my office subscription and about the same for my AMaZune plus subscription.

I have a 15/month prepaid data plan that gives me a bonus regularly since I’ve kept service for x years now.

Besides the bargain basement Amazune videa plan and Netflux I don’t have any streams.
