I made the mistake of following a link to shop for better car insurance rates and in the end I wound up feeling like a girl with a bad reputation – constant emails asking me to log in to see my quote for a month or so

Is there a way to shop for car insurance where I don’t wind up getting inundated with quotes from dozens of providers, followed by pestering for the next few months

Getting quotes straight from the company rather than places like nerdwallet. Any company will blast you with emails after you get the quote, but just hit unsubscribe after you make a decision.

Find an insurance broker. It’s one contact and they do the shopping for you. If you have homeowners insurance, you can bundle that in too

A broker is the way to go. Not to promote any one service, but I recently used select quote to shop my car and home insurance and was pleasantly supposed by the process.

Fake but similar info when getting quotes. Then change it when I decide the one I want…there’s ALWAYS an opportunity when the price looks good to edit your personal info Ive found…Also a junk throwaway email address I make in this app called Instaddr in the appstore
