The question is how to solve it. People before buying search on the internet about the location. We the people have to talk shit about our location on the social media. Whatever, masive flood, problems, heat, whatever. And the prices gonna fall.

    2. While it does suck, she could also stop renting from the same types of people. I would never rent in a situation where that could likely happen. You have to vet the living situation, property owner, property manager, read all the fine print, ask if they will be raising rents every year, ask if they plan on selling, etc. If I dont like anything about the terms, ownership, management, etc I am not signing a rental agreement.

Capitalism at its best… Enjoy it

She will have to move, she will have to until she is far, far away so she can get a lower price rental.

      It is heartbreaking

    4. I feel for her, but she’s not nearly pissed off enough to be the voice of the housing crisis.

    5. She didnt name the city she was living in so we don’t know what renter protections she may or may not have in her area. But typically, if you sign a one year lease and the property is sold the new owners need to honor the existing lease.
