    1. Many on Wall Street will likely still demand a rate cut in September. IMO, Increased inflation while the job market is only soft, rather than in crisis, means that the Fed *should* hold rates steady for the next meeting.

    2. Your standing on a mountain top watching a meteor heading towards you. You say it’s not that big and it will probably miss me anyway. Finally at the last minute you realize you are wrong as the meteor is about to hit you. You turn and run downhill as fast as you can. Get ready for the stock market downhill run.
