I’m not smart enough to offer a valid critique but this seems awesome.

With things looking as they do, its gross to see how simple and efficient it could all be

Our utopia was stolen. We knew this 20+ years ago but it’s nice to see the rest of America rattling the chains. Too bad we put fascists in power first tho.

Capitalism means opening social scissor – this is the scientific approach. It is wired into the system’s operation.
Capitalism exist for 10000 years, Mesopotamia – When humanity became capable of producing more food than it needed, it settled in many places, creating stocks, barter trade, promissory notes (money), capital, investment for profit…
UNO data:
8 000 000 000 people live on Earth
1 000 000 000 in food misery
Humans have the technical capability to feed 10 000 000 000 people
So, the cost of capitalism is 3 000 000 000 people’s food – or 30%
2 exceptions: revolution or natural disaster

Of course it’s possible, but efficient? Possibly, but who will pay for it? The middle and working class almost certainly have to bear a large burden here

I wouldn’t trust AI to give me a coherent answer on much simpler questions than this. It doesn’t do any critical thinking, won’t notice even beginner mistakes it made and it caves at the slightest amount of pushback with mediocre evidence. When it comes to questions bordering on philosophy, you’re MUCH better off thinking about all the ups and downs yourself and discussing them with people.
The thing is, the issues needing to be addressed to move from how our society works now toward how it could work in a futuristic post scarcity utopia are not going to fit into an easy to digest set of bullet points. As of right now, it would require an unknown amount of theory, research, pilot programs and even our culture changing entirely.
Some countries are luckily moving to forms of universal basic income, which I think is a cricial step. But the change you’re proposing requires a lot of people and companies to give up property, which by itself would need to be defined in ways to make overwhelming sense to a majority of the voting population, which also implies a relatively high rate of education in those topics.
Our society is at best moving at the speed of our collective consensus. This includes mis- and disinformation. And at worst, we’re facing people in power who are happy with how things are now, if not looking back to how things were going 50 years ago with rose tinted glasses.
I think that this future is completely attainable, but we have unimaginable amounts of problems to solve before we can get there, some of which have the potential to doom life on earth before that.

The issue is money itself and the corruption it brings. If looking for an actually system that solves the problems along the lines of this chatgpt inquiry, please feel free to read or listen to this book my friend wrote several years ago for absolutely free.

See, there are more options than just brutal capitalism or wide-eyed communism.
