Starting my own payment processing company came from a mix of frustration, ambition, and a love for building genuine business relationships. I have always been extremely efficient when it comes to finances and resources. Over the years, I saw how many middlemen and layers of unnecessary overhead made payment processing far more expensive than it needed to be. Many businesses were paying what felt like legalized extortion or racketeering fees just to accept credit cards. I knew I could create a system that stripped away those costs and provided businesses with much lower rates.

One of the biggest reasons I started this company was to help businesses, especially veteran owned businesses, save money. I offer them rates that are close to wholesale because I respect what they have done for the country and want them to succeed. I take pride in giving them an advantage in an area where so many companies get taken advantage of.

Another major factor in building this company was my background as a software engineer. I built everything from scratch, including the company website, custom onboarding tools, and systems for managing client support. By doing the technical work myself, I saved tens of thousands of dollars in development costs and created exactly what I needed without having to rely on outside developers. The custom tools streamlined everything from client setup to account management, allowing me to run a lean, efficient operation while maintaining complete control over the technology side of the business.

What makes this work fulfilling for me is not just the financial side. I love building relationships with other businesses. Many of my clients have become long-term partners, and some have even become friends. I believe in doing business the right way, where trust and transparency matter more than aggressive sales tactics.

Speaking of sales tactics, I have a strong dislike for telemarketers and spam. I run no outbound marketing campaigns. I send no spam emails, no text messages, and I hire no telemarketers. My clients come to me through referrals, organic searches, and word of mouth. That approach keeps things simple and honest, which is exactly how I like to do business.

Even though I have cut service fees dramatically, the revenue is still good because the volume grows steadily. Businesses appreciate saving money, and they stick with someone who provides real value without any gimmicks. Looking back, starting this company was one of the best decisions I have ever made because it allows me to help people, earn a solid income, and run a business in a way that aligns with my values while fully using my technical skills.
