Hi all,

I have a Private Limited company in India. It has not launched any products or raised money from investors yet. The company is planning to launch consumer SaaS products soon. The products are still under development phase.

A few years back, I published a whitepaper to gather feedback, and a competitor copied my intellectual property, which distracted me from compliance. As a result, I failed to file 2 important compliance forms.

The fines are required to even submit the compliance forms with government. The fines are calculated per day, and if I don't pay, I risk being disqualified as a director for 5 years. This means I cannot run any company in India for 5 years. That kills my entrepreneurship dreams. I have around 50 days time to sort this out.

Indian company laws feel really harsh on early-stage startups, regardless of whether the company has earned any revenue, the fines are the same. My fines are in the range of a few thousand USD, and my immediate goal is just to pay them and avoid director disqualification.

Fundraising isn't an option right now, as I'm a solo founder and haven't launched a product yet.

I'm a developer with decent experience in WordPress, Golang, research, patent/trademark filing, AWS, docker, git, and related technologies. I have been charging $50/hour for client work in the past. That may sound expensive or affordable, depending on the country you are from.

I have decent programming experience since I graduated in 2010, but I don't have many active clients at the moment because I was focusing on my startup.

My main goal is to save me from director disqualification. But that needs me to pay the Fines.

I'm looking for practical ways to sort out my company compliance issues. Any suggestions, advise, reference, or strategies would be really appreciated.

Not looking for full time jobs.

    Thanks in advance.
