The State Farm / US Bank Visa offers 3% cash back on the first $4000 spend annually. They also offer a bonus: signup through your insurance agent, and get an extra 2% cash back for the first year.
On their website it says:
3% cash back on insurance premium payments, up to $4,000 spent annually
Special offer: By applying directly through a State Farm agent, earn up to 5% cash back on insurance premium payments for the first year.
in my statement it shows:
3% Cash Insurance up to $4,000 / 1% After $x.xx
2% Cash Agent Insurance Offer $x.xx
So it seems like the 1yr agent bonus is a 2% add-on.
However, the agent bonus is not mentioned anywhere in the T&C paperwork, or any other docs I received with the card that I could find.
QUESTION: does anyone know if the 2% agent bonus continues to apply after the $4k annual limit is reached.
Asking because I will hit the 4k limit soon, and wondering if I will get 3% or only 1% until my card anniversary.
Question about State Farm Visa agent signup bonus.
