me and 2 friends are wanting to rent a house together but we have some setbacks. my credit score is a 690, my other roommate has a 790, and my other roommate has a bad score which is a 470. her information was leaked online and she had information stolen which dropped her score significantly. she also has medical and student debt. it has gotten back up significantly within the past year. i’m just wanting some advice to see if this is something that will automatically deny us. online it says that they make acceptions sometimes to low scores if the place has been on the market for more than 30 days (the place we like has been on for 70 days) and if the score is due to medical and student debt. however it states that for scores 550-599. we are trying to get into contact with the leasing agent to be upfront and honest about it to see our chances. we aren’t sure if the credit score is combined for all of us or if they assess individually. one of my roommates also had a restraining order against them due to a situation with a past friend where they were attacked by this person and taken to court. it was a whole mess, will this restraining order pop up when running background check? any insight is appreciated thank you!
advice or help appreciated!
