Robinhood locked me from transfers after I changed my password because Legend wouldn’t let me log in until I send them my ID and three selfies, so I am currently looking for a new place to trade. I applied for Interactive Brokers, but earlier I saw that they are also beginning to require biometric data to access your account in some cases, so that’s a no. Are there any solid platforms out there that are biometric data-free to trade options on?
Best platform not requiring biometric data?

Hmm, Schwab’s ToS has never asked me for anything like that, but maybe I’m grandfathered in?
Just a plain old username and password gets me in, even to the Schwab website.
Yes, but why does using biometrics bother you so much? It’s pretty damn hard for scammers to defeat.
Any legitimate broker is going to require biometrics, 2FA, etc.
I’ve read many recent horror stories of what happens when a broker doesn’t force and/or implement on every account. TastyTrade, for example, only recently offered 2FA for logging into the desktop/website app. Previously they just implemented it for bank withdrawals. The result? A few customers were hacked and several large high-risk trades were made to basically deplete the account balance. Apparently TastyTrade doesn’t offer a security guarantee like Schwab, IBKR, etc., so the customers were basically out of luck.
