I have a surface book 2. My least favorite laptop I have ever used. So I don’t use it for anything.
I do use Trevor app on my main computer.
Wonder if it’s safer to just use the Trevor app on this surface book instead?
I’m factory resetting it now and won’t install anything but the Trevor app.

Sounds like a good idea.
Running your wallet on your main computer is not a great idea. Too big attack surface and even if the Trezor device protects the signing keys having a bad actor getting hold of the xpub key of the wallet or even at all realizing you have crypto is bad enough.
Would also be a but more comfortable running Linux for managing the wallet, but Windows is fine if you do not use the computer for anything else.
