Hi guys im fairly new around here and understanding options, something I am stuck on is researching options and screening out stocks, do you guys have any methods you guys use for picking stocks?

    1. It doesn’t matter because the market is irrational and candle charts are just astrology for dudes.

      Options allow you to lose money faster than regular stocks.

      You need to figure out what options approach you want to go with and apply the same principles you use for stock picking; if it not worth owning, it is not worth running options on.

      If you don’t know how to pick stocks you are faaaaaar away from being ready to get into options. You would need to learn how to walk before you learn how to run.

    3. I mainly use barchart for straightforward technical analysis, and their strategy recommendations can be helpful. Sometimes I’ll use Chaiken for fundamental analysis, but it’s pricey.
