Just wanted to share in case it helps someone else here.

My grandma needed new hearing aids and the local clinic quoted $3800+, we honestly couldn't afford that.

After digging around, we tried Oricle hearing aids online, paid under $100 and they shipped next day.

She's been using them for about 2 months now, and it's wild how clear the sound is compared to her old pair. They're rechargable, so no more buying those tiny batteries.

Not saying it's the solution for everyone, but if you're looking at $3k+ quotes like we were, it's worth checking out cheaper alternatives.

For anyone curious, I actually found a blog that explained the product better that I could, you can find it in the comments.

There is also a type of Apple ear bud that can function as a hearing aid. However, it’s still worth paying a doctor to help tune them.

    2. Hearing aids have traditionally had a huge cost markup. That business was ripe for competition like the product you bought. A lot of people just do without hearing aids due to the ridiculous cost. This is just one more example of our pitiful medical system in the US.
