Altcoins are like the hidden gems of crypto.
Most people overlook them, but that’s where big opportunities usually hide.
Sometimes the “lowkey” coins end up making the loudest moves.

What got me saying this is related to the recent Bitget event that I saw where users are split into two teams: Hot Coins vs Altcoins. the altcoin team consist of lowkey gems while the Hot coins teams consist of bigger coins like Bitcoin. they introduce the event in other to celebrate their 7th anniversary. The idea is simple compete, rank, and win from a prize pool of 30,000 USDT.

By the end of the challenge, the top 100 on both teams will walk away with prizes. But here’s the twist: the winning team gets the bigger rewards. For example, the top 1 player on the winning team will take home $8,000, while the top 1 from the losing team still secures $1,000. Not bad either way.

The event is open to users from the French, Dutch, and European regions, and it’s already gaining traction.

Personally, I’m leaning toward Team Altcoins, the underdogs always have something to prove.
What about you? Would you side with the Hot Coin favorites or back the Altcoin challengers?

What if the coins nobody really rates end up being the ones that make the biggest moves?
