Marriott Credit Card Strategy

Good day community family,

I feel like I need a PhD in Marriott to figure this one out and I am getting some conflicting and confusing information from my research.

I have 0 (ZERO) Marriott cards and I am at 3/24. I lowered my credit limit on a few cards to make way for any new cards that I will be applying for in the very near future.

I have 2 more cards falling out of the 5/25 rule in July 2026. I have 2 Amex cards (important because of Amex 5 card.max rule (or 4 if the change affects me).

What is the proper strategy get all 4 or 5 Marriot card to max out the welcome bonus rewards?
