Amex has already confirmed that a refresh is coming to the Amex Platinum, and there's some support to a FHR credit change happening on September 18, so where is the actual announcement of the refresh's changes? There's only one week left until September 18. Do you think the announcement will happen on September 18 rather than before?

Hopefully it’s after my renewal hits in October.
Nobody wants to announce any news (unless they’re trying to bury it) too close to an iPhone announcement, nor do they want to announce things on 9/11. Fridays in general are bad days to announce news (again, unless you’re trying to bury it). The announcement will presumably come at some point next week.
It just seems to me it that it will be announced Sept 18.
