Been watching CRVW closely and noticed a ton of bullish call flow hitting the scanners lately. I grabbed some Dec $135Cs a while back (avg ~$6.40) and they’ve already moved pretty well even with the pullback today.

    Catalysts coming up:

    • AI/data center hype cycle hasn’t slowed down.
    • Rumors about new partnerships/contracts in Q4.
    • Overall momentum in the sector still strong, and IV hasn’t gone totally crazy yet.

My take → if those catalysts line up, I could see this making a push toward $180/share within the next 3 months. Obviously a big move, but the flow + positioning has been leaning that way.

Curious if anyone else is seeing the same on their scanners or if I’m getting too ahead of myself here.

    1. HovercraftRemarkable on

Penny stock lovers, who got excited by this post title, OP actually meant CRWV, not CRVW. And for OP, anything is possible, since it’s an irrational bull market.

    2. Heavy call flow doesn’t mean much by itself, and it can actually have the opposite effect, leading to exacerbated price falls. Some of the heaviest call buying can be seen during the final buying climax before a bullish trend reverses. One problem with heavy call flow it is that many of the market makers writing those calls bought the underlying in order to remain delta neutral. That’s no problem if the calls expire ITM, but what if they expire OTM? Market makers don’t hold longer than they need to so they’ll be offloading those shares as soon as the calls expire. Lots of market makers selling their hedges all at the same time…

    3. With all the insiders who own 80% of the float dumping as hard and as fast as they can I’m actually hoping for a bounce to get short this. The balance sheet is atrocious, enormously indebted and the leases… Geez I actually think this company goes to zero in the next 5 years. They are going to own a bunch of paperweights that they won’t be able to depreciate off their books fast enough and won’t even own the building they are sitting in…. The largest shareholder has their shares collared at 70 and $175 so its a pretty good assumption this ain’t seeing 175 again…..
