Over the last 25 years, the Internet has become more central to our lives. However, during that time, economic growth has stagnated in nearly every developed economy apart from the USA while rising in the developing world.
Is this all because of the Internet? Helps developing countries sell to wealthy customers, but weakens more costly economies due to the competition. And while the USA may be the outlier, their growth has been centred around developing the firms that operate the Internet. They're basically selling shovels
