I was looking at court filings and noticed my landlord filed an scra against me and my wife..this is after eviction court ruled against him… And now I see I'm in the hook for 500+ dollars for court cost and court fees..but here is the kicker…my landlord is not active military…I doubt he ever was…
What can I do?
Landlord filed a service member civil relief act against me (Scra).

You’ll have to provide more information. Normally it’s the service member who would like to lower an interest rate or some other benefit who files. What is the landlords intention?
Counter sue and file for discovery for proof of service.
There is not nearly enough information here to give you any kind of informed answer.
Get a lawyer. Based on your post you don’t appear to have any idea of what exactly is going on and you need the help. I’m not being mean – this is why lawyers exist
What do you mean by he filed a SCRA against you? That doesn’t really make any sense based on what SCRA is.
Repost this to r/law and get reddit attorney’s advice.
Or got to your bases JAG.
