Hello, I am a salesperson from a R&D team in China. Our current product is a pool cleaning robot, and I have the following questions:

    1. How can I get a response after making contact with clients from large companies?

    2. I can use plugins to obtain procurement personnel's email addresses. For clients from large companies, is it better to prioritize obtaining the email addresses of procurement staff or personnel in other positions?

    3. Can I send an email directly to the relevant department if I have obtained the email address but not connected with the client on LinkedIn?

Q:How i connect to large company

    1. For getting responses from big companies, maybe try to really personalize your first email and show you understand their specific needs, not just a generic pitch.
About emails, I kinda wonder if reaching out to someone who’d use the robot first might be better than going straight to procurement? They could then champion it internally.
And yeah, I think it’s generally okay to email if you have the address, even without a LinkedIn connection. Just keep it polite and professional.
I always wonder, is it better to know the right person or be the right person?

Who is going to buy your robot?

Who is the actual buyer and user if your robot?

How does it compare to what is already being sold to consumers in this market?

Why your robot and not something else?

Although procurement employees are crucial, it can occasionally be beneficial to get in touch with product managers or department heads who use the product in question. They can act as internal advocates.
