    lmaooo so wall street has this thing now where they literally bet on trump folding

    they call it TACO – trump always chickens out. dead serious there’s a whole wikipedia page

    ok so like… remember in may when he was all “CHINA WILL PAY ULTIMATE PRICE” and everyone freaked out? then 2 days later it was “we had productive talks”???

    traders figured out the pattern. its actually hilarious

    my buddy at morgan stanley showed me their internal chat and these mfs have an entire channel called #taco-trades where they just drop the 🌮 emoji whenever trump tweets about tariffs. then everyone buys

    the thing is…. it keeps working?? like he threatened mexico with some insane number, market tanked, three days later “great relationship with mexico” and boom everything recovers

    there was literally a protest sign in chicago that said “trump always chickens out” which is how i found out normal people know about this too lol

    wild part – im pretty sure his own people are trading this. no way they dont know the pattern by now

    he just did the china rare earth thing yesterday btw. clock starts now

    idk man 2025 is weird. imagine explaining to someone in 2015 that we’d have a meme trading strategy based on presidential negotiation tactics and it would actually work

      have u even read the news? It’s China firstly published their export control of the rare earth on Thursday night ( U.S. time) and if you had even spent 1 minute of your life to read through, and you would understand how ridiculous that statement is. According to that statement, the entire Europe and U.S. industries are taken down by the shortage of supply. It isn’t Trump who started today’s chaos

      So this time both side will chicken out, but it needs China to chick out first

      Well its not funny, its actually pathetic that this is what our country has become. He’s telling his friends and family “yo im about to temporarily fuck these commodities, buy in when they’re low and I’ll immediately unfuck them.” And they’re doing it, and making money hand over fist.

      Meanwhile his serfs (literally all of you reading this post + me) are stuck having to play this guessing game about what stupid thing he’s going to do next to try and make the next big buck off of it.

      I’m not even old, but I can tell you, it damn sure wasn’t always like this.

      MM also knew it. As soon as it opening they pushed ES to resistance level 6800 5805 to make sure we think mk going up before flushed it down. Usually if they want mk going up they will flush to trap it 1st. You can tell NQ was not following.

      Notice how Trump always makes these announcements on a Friday in the morning and then after the markets tank he makes a statement Friday evening after markets close?
      It’s literally market manipulation. Tank the market right before the weekend, make a statement before markets open and have his rich cronies buy all the stocks back at the dip on Monday opening.

      The stock market experiencing long periods of sustained growth followed by short lived corrections is something that is totally unique to the Trump presidency. It’s not like there is 100 years of precedent reflecting this type of price action.

      TACO definitely makes us all think about the markets in a new and interesting way.
