heard this line today from a millionaire, he had came to our college founder of an incense stick brand. and this like is still stuck with me. because honestly, there are two kinds of lives you can build. one where you grind, take risks, build big, and maybe only get real “family time” after you’ve made it. and the other where you play safe, earn steady, live decently, but never really stretch yourself.
neither is wrong. but what he said made me realize, the real test is how you balance both while you’re still building. most people either burn out chasing success or settle too early thinking it’s peace. very few learn how to grow and stay grounded.
that’s the kind of success i want someday.
what do you all think??
Business at the cost of family is to be avoided

I agree 100%. This is what I always try to do and is exactly how I built my wealth. Most people don’t want to listen though. They think they’ll be rich by this time tomorrow. And they have no patience to wait any longer.
If you work from home I highly recommend renting an office and working there if you want to stay married. Otherwise, it’s never understood that you can’t just drop everything to go do something like help carry some spur of the moment purchases in from the car.
You’re right, it’s a marathon, not a sprint. The real “grind” isn’t just about 100-hour weeks; it’s about finding a balanced way to survive those weeks for 10 years straight.
