Additionally, maintenance for such a large room will be borne by the taxpayers. You know what else, the overhead cost to run it. It’s gonna be like a second Mar-a-Lago for Trump – with millions in running costs.

    2. This is ignoring the indirect effects of the financial advantages gained by the companies funding this bribe who will this be given permission to engage in anti-taxpayer/consumer market behaviors. I suspect that this will be in the tens or hundreds of billions of dollars.

    3. America when will you wake and realize this isnt what you signed up for? Honestly… He’s screwing the common man, and making the rich, ultra rich. Everything is a grift , he’s so out of touch with American actual needs… Wake up and dump the pedo president.

    4. They say “up to”, I say “LOL LOL LOL ARE YOU SMOKING BATH SALTS?” because the implication that max grift has already been determined is the stupidest thing I ever heard.

$160m is the imaginary minimum, not a hard cap lol.

    5. There is a death wish prevalent in nihilist America. Many people have turned against their society out of boredom and alienation and appear to derive pleasure from imagining—and now inviting—its destruction. The institutions and norms that led to a society of unrivaled wealth, stability, and freedom are no longer animating forces to half of the electorate. After the Civil War, Walt Whitman expressed fear in his essay, “Democratic Vistas,” that “genuine belief” had left America. We now live with the exit.

It is because of the death wish that Trump’s lack of character, morality, and respect for our norms did not cost him the election. Millions of Americans either despise those pillars or don’t consider them real, just another phony, theatrical exercise inherent in the devious racket.

Your taxes at work everyone. This man is royally screwing America. He’s known for using subpar materials on his properties, too. This is not the ‘People’s House’ anymore, it’s a trump property now. First the Rose Garden, now this ballroom. The same person that screeched about Confederate statues, what about historical elements of the WH? Nah he doesn’t care.

Would anyone be surprised if the costs/budget/expenses were never revealed for “national security “ reasons? If it really only cost 100 million and the other 200 disappeared into someone’s pocket?
