so, i went with my girlfriends insurance company she referred me to, while on call to get my car insured they brought up i need to give a 350$ deposit, i did that, they did all the paper work sent me a temporary card and so on, i had emailed the insurance company asking them what date my payment would come out (they said the 9th of October) i always make sure i have enough money for bills in my account to be withdrawn, it was 171.00$ CAD, here comes the 9th i have about 1600$ in my account waiting for the payment to come out, it didnt come out on the 9th,10th,11th, i thought it was weird so i emailed again, asked them why wasnt my payment taken out, they said theyd look into it, that was oct 11th i got that email and not a single peep since, now sitting here (28th) relaxing with the girlfriend i get a notification from my bank stating that -352.56 was taken out, THEY DOUBLED MY AMOUNT, there is no bank statement of them trying to take it out and if they did it would've came out because i had money this whole month, no response or email back from them with a update and it hasnt even been two months for them to even take out another 171.00$ the next payment should have been the 9th of November but no they took it out today (28th) WHAT DO I DO?
i had my rent money, heat & lights, wifi all to be paid end of month and now i cant make due because of this, anyone thoughts?

I’m confused. What month/time frame are we talking about from when you initially decided to insure your vehicle with the insurance company your girlfriend referred you to, did all the paperwork and received the temporary card?
If you had to provide a $350 deposit and they withdrew $352.56, your concern should be the difference ($2.56). Or, are you saying that the $350 (+/- a few dollars) was taken out twice (once in early October and again later in the same month)? Please clarify.
If there are no bank records/transactions/statements that the money was withdrawn, then how did you get notification that $352.56 was withdrawn from your bank on 10/28?
If the insurance company had taken out the $350.00 deposit on October 9th, 10th, 11th, were you still supposed to make a $171.00 payment on November 9th? Are you certain that your next payment is due November 9th or may it be due the latter part of the month (~the 28th)?
My advice would be to reach out to the insurance company ASAP during business hours to speak with a person to get clarification of what monies they have received from you (in total) and when your next payment is due.
Once you have a better understanding of what transpired with the insurance company and your money, the easier it will be for you to figure out what to do.
