It’s not really scarce. There are no scarcity mechanics in doge. It’s just fixed in its growth, unlike Fiat, that is unlimited and infinite.
But I’d definitely prefer to hold Doge over the USD.

There’s about 150 billion dogecoin in circulation with 10,000 doge coin being added every minute. That’s about US$30 billion worth of Dogecoin. And it’s worth a lot less today than USD was in 2021 or 2024. Doge had an atmospheric run up to 2021 and has been pretty bad since then. And an awful lot of those coins were purchased with fiat currency for significantly higher than the current price or even the 2024 high. Lot of bag holders that need those to reach a dollar just to maybe break even versus if they’d put their money in VOO.
