I think everyone dreams of being an entrepreneur, have freedom and eventually good income. But once you get in, it is sooo hard, lots of nightmares and fails. Do we all really know what do we sign up for?

It might be different for everyone but the bottom-line would be, to make a difference in the world. And whoever doesn’t do it for this reason, won’t be doing it for long. Who are driven by building a legacy and making an impact in the world are the ones who always find the drive to keep it going, no matter what.
Most people don’t know what they signed up for, there’s a famous quote from Jeff Bezos about if he knew how hard it’d end up being to build Amazon into what it is today, he never would’ve started and I think that “not knowing” might just be a blessing in disguise in hindsight to see what amazing thing you’ve built gradually just showing up every day and keeping the momentum going, some days less, some days more!
I really dont think everyone.
Not everyone has what it takes. It requires a certain level of intelligence, social skills, constant discomfort and trial and error. But I dont think there is anything more rewarding than working for yourself. When you work for yourself, the sky is the limit.
If it was easy, everyone would do it.
Not true. Most people just want to go to work and collect a paycheck. They have 0 interest in putting their own money at risk which is what separates business owners vs employees. They also don’t want to work long hours and grind.
This is what separates the average person from a millionaire.
I just wanna live in a van down by the river.
“Everyone” ? Buddy your research is really poor.
A lot are forced
50% of Gen Z side hustle
You got this
I’m 15 years in, so I know what I signed up for.
Most people like the idea of being an “entrepreneur” but don’t really like hard work and think a business is a vehicle to “follow their dreams” as opposed to solving problems in the marketplace. Best of luck to them if it works.
You’re either an entrepreneur or not. If you are, then you never give up and eventually you will succeed.
A lot of people think they want to be entrepreneurs, but they actually want to be micropreneurs, or just a small business in general
I think we all just want to be free.
Many people say they want to be entrepreneur’s because they think it’s an escape path from working the job that they hate. They don’t even know what being an entrepreneur really is.
Freedom freeedoom
Ive found A LOT of people like to SAY they’re entrepreneurs, and might even register a business, set up a website- BUT few actually last through the initial motivation burst and stick with it through the discomfort.
It’s a lifestyle heheh
It’s interesting on r/jobs how many people say “just start your own business” since the job market is a roller coaster right now, with little thought of the challenges. Yes relying on employment can have ups and downs but the assumption just spinning up your own business is an idea and it just happens successfully is wild. As a self employed person it is a GRIND and has lots of its own stresses uncertainties and slow times especially in todays landscape.
I haven’t had any good job opportunities so I’ve been trying to create one for myself.
I think most of us want to be entrepreneur, to build our own dreams, I know it is super hard, but at the same time it´s work for your own purpose in life, so it can be soooo hard, but it also had a lot of happiness.

I don’t know where people get the idea that being an entrepreneur gives you freedom. You can quit a job with a week’s notice, to sell a company or wind it down would take months if not years.
You don’t even got to do the work you like, you need to do whatever you can’t afford to pay someone else to do, which is normally a lot.
Freedom comes from success and wealth but that’s just as easy to get from a job as it is from your own business. (Probably easier going by the stats)
The only reason to start a business is that you really want to build something, not for the rewards (because they probably won’t come) but for the joy of building itself.
Where do I go to get a certification to be an entrepreneur?
It sounds cool, but the reality is you’re on call 24/7, and the buck stops with you. However, when things start to click and you begin earning a living, there’s no better feeling in the world.
