    1. Don’t waste time validating with friends. the biggest mistake founders make is building too much too soon. you’re not building a product, you’re building a problem.

if you’re spending time figuring out how to make a chatbot, you’re already losing. focus on teh actual users. the ones who are actively frustrated with the current workflow.

don’t get caught up in fancy features. you’ll spend six months building something nobody needs. instead, figure out one tiny pain point.

maybe it’s a specific email template, a confusing spreadsheet. and build a simple solution for it. get it in front of 5 people…

see if they actually use it, and then iterate. if they’re still struggling, you’ve identified a real problem. if not, you wasted your time.

the key is speed and focus.

    2. Mine was honestly the need to make everything perfect, i’d work hours and hours to increase the value of my product instead of marketing it whatsoever.

    3. My biggest bottleneck right now is onboarding the first restaurants before there’s traction.

Eaterz is a membership platform where users pay $35/month to get a free small dish every visit (about 12 times a month) at partner restaurants, as long as they post content about their experience. We also bring in content creators who join for free, eat for free, and post to drive awareness.

Restaurants benefit from real diners walking in, consistent social media exposure, new customers discovering them, and increased repeat visits. We offset the cost of the food and they also share in the revenue as we grow, so it’s a low-risk way for them to bring in more customers and attention without spending on ads. The challenge is getting the first restaurants to see the value early.
