What are some exmaples of how Intergenerational poverty Impacts Americans as a form of inequality?

Im a HS student and am writing an essay about inequality for my English class. And my topic is how intergenerational poverty impacts people and acts as a major form of inequality.

Im looking for potential "sub-sections" to dive deeper into based off the primary topic. I was thinking about first linking it to inferior education quality and also opertunities in refrence to being able to attend higher education. Then link that to lower paying jobs and therefore cycle of being low income.

Then also in the essay including things like neighborhood vioence, likeliness to face incarceration, etc. But Im honesly jsut looking for any advice here as to more exmaples or things to dive deeper into that could be more impactful and really showcase an example of inequality due to intergenerational poverty.
