Hi,
18yo future entrepreneur here. I’m currently working on making camping gear using origami to reduce weight and space. Right now I’m testing various prototypes, I’ve given out some units to people and the feedback has been really positive. At this point, I’m fairly positive that there is a lot of demand for my products.
My biggest worry as of right now is my lack of leadership skills and knowledge. I went to commercial school for the last 4 years so I know "the basics" however I doubt you can study how to make effective decisions based on theory made for a wide audience.
There’s also not a lot of information for where I currently live (Austria) on where you can find other people who are passionate about outdoor gear, product design or startups. Any advice for my situation even if not answering the question in the title is appreciated. Will respond to any questions
Where do you find people who you want to start a company with?

It sounds like you could benefit from a mentor instead. I’m 38 and have successfully run and failed in almost any industry. If you ever want to chat, let me know
cool idea. for austria check vienna startup garage & happylab makerspace. also austrianstartups slack channel is solid for finding people. leadership you learn by doing not reading – youre already ahead by building. keep momentum and dont overthink it
Impressive start at your age. Sounds like you need a road map for business in Austria. Find you an elder that’s doing something similar, buy him dinner and pick his brain. You may even know one or know somebody that knows one and don’t even realize. You’ve got the product, now you need go to market breakdown. Also, probably a book or youtube that loosely breaks it down. Suggest that first to get the lingo down over there. Just my thoughts. Best.
