For me, it was saying yes to everything. The moment I stopped chasing every “opportunity” and focused on one clear lane, the quality of clients and my sanity skyrocketed.

Sometimes growth isn’t about adding; it’s about subtracting.

What did you cut out that made things finally click?

What’s one thing you stopped doing that actually made your business grow?

Procrastinating. Stopped procrastinating and doing busy work(stuff that makes me feel busy but wouldn’t bring any results) and started taking action

We stopped supporting every customer that didn’t fit our ICP. We lost a few customers, but it was worth it.

      To expand this thought we

      – raised prices to reflect value and filter out customers that didn’t fit

      – eliminated call in support and forced people to read articles, and put in support tickets

      – telling potential customers during the demo that we may not be a good fit

    3. omg this!! stopped letting people talk me into “exposure” gigs last year and suddenly i had space for actual paying clients. the audacity of people wanting free work is wild.

    4. For me it was cutting out the small projects that didn’t fit where I wanted to go. Once I stopped taking every job, I had more focus and better clients started showing up.

That’s so true, I also have SAID NO to some clients because I know they won’t be worth my time.

    6. Turning away clients I didn’t like and focused more on finding the ones I do like. Which throws of my KPIs because my cost per client I keep goes up, but my happiness and client success goes way up
