I’m a 55-year-old male currently working as a bus driver. What are some medium sized cities that are pretty progressive that a single guy with no children relocate to? I don’t have much in terms of things and can certainly may do with very little.
I don’t have a very large family and all of them are little to no support. I’m used to flying solo a lot of the time so I’d like a bit of peace but at the same time I’d like to develop into a bit more social individual.
I enjoy my job in public transit, but I have extensive experience and sales and some other things so given the right community I can be pretty marketable.
Starting Over at 55. Where are some affordable and progressive options for relocation?

Portland Oregon
Depends what rental or purchase price is your ceiling. I’d endorse Baltimore or Philly if you want culture and progressive and to live in a city.
Albany, New York. CDTA is pretty alright here.
Philly. Parts of it aren’t the safest, but tbh as long as you mind your business and don’t leave anything in your car you will be fine.
