I bought an Amazfit Bip 5 for around $60 and it worked great (although it was my first smartwatch so I don't have much expectations) until the main feature I bought it for stopped working (i took it into the ocean and didn't realize that the water grading is DIFFERENT for salt water :/ ). The warranty process has been a mess and I’m close to giving up on getting it replaced.

All I really need a smartwatch for is fitness tracking: heart rate monitoring, steps, and good running tools (my mile pace, cadence, distance, tracking my route etc). Nothing really fancy.

Does anyone have recommendations for inexpensive smartwatches that handle the basics well? I’m just looking for something reliable for everyday fitness and running without spending a ton.

    Budget: $60~

    1. Not quite sure your budget is reasonable. $60 for something that requires GPS is very low. You’re gonna get what you pay for. The tracking and metrics are gonna suck

Least expensive smart watch for fitness is to go on the buynothing app or buynothing groups on facebook and ask.

    3. I would look into getting something like a fitbit secondhand. I had one for a couple years before I switched to an Apple Watch and had 0 issues! Battery life was a lot longer too

3 years ago I picked up a Samsung active 2 used for about $100 off eBay. Still kicking, battery still goes for 1.5 days with average use.
I’m not pitching the product, I am suggesting you look into used previous year’s models.

    5. Look up open box watches from Best Buy. They had Samsung Galaxy Watch7 just like new for $70-ish last month when I picked one up.

    6. Xiaomi Band 10 (or 9, or 8 or 7) (Global version-if you’re outside China) It’s about $48.60 I wear the 7; hope Santa bring me a 10! Great battery life. See them on AZ for more info.

I picked up a refurbished Apple SE 2 for $169. More than you are looking for but maybe worth saving up for! I’ve been happy with it.
