Sooooooo… I cringe when I think of all the money I’ve wasted over a lifetime of profligate spending.

I try so hard and have taken much of the advice I’ve found here to heart.

One thing I just realized (silly me) is that there’s no reason to hoard samples and travel sizes. I always just put them in a large box and use as needed for travel.

I ran out of toothpaste the other day and realized that I have SEVENTY small tubes from the dentist stored in that box.

Needless to say, we’ll be using up the travel sized toothpastes before purchasing more.

I hope someone else sees this and has the same AHA! moment.

lol, there’s definitely a funny in between space where travel size or sample size products are sometimes the frugal option – I personally realized I don’t use certain products fast enough to buy full size and I was wasting money on full sized or double packs being on sale because they lose effectiveness and I’m throwing away expired products.
Antiperspirant, mascara, and sunblock spray/aloe are a few things that come to mind, I really just buy the travel size or smaller size because if I’m throwing any away unused it’s not cheaper per oz and the smaller size means it’s easily packed for travel.
