    From Up 17K to Down 20.6K

    This has been an absolutely abysmal year. Biggest losers were Nebius after it dropped from 50 to 29 in late Feb (lost about 10K), MDB (1.4K), Kids Clothing Store under 1B which WSB won’t let me write (3K), KDP (4K), ULTA (1.5K), a bet that Joey Chestnut would eat 75 hotdogs LMAO (1.45K) (and my latest trade BBWI (1.85K), made a bunch of smaller sized option trades around 1K that also blew up horrendously. Couldn’t get all my losing trades in here, just too many. But put a few.

    Despite it all I was able to buy a small apartment and pay off my car. Did a ton of uber this year on top of my W2 job as my losses mounted. This year I will make ~$85,000 between them. So it’s not like this loss will ruin my life, but it still sucks. Just means I will be working 55-60 hrs a week for the foreseeable future.

    Only 24 and steadily building a 403b that is at 9.7K currently. I enjoy trading but this year has been my absolute worst. Enjoy my loss porn y’all. Don’t do what I do.

      Welcome to the club man. Hopefully when you make your next 20k you learn how to take profits shit like this can happen all the time. Can’t go broke if you take profit.

      I went from 70k up to 10k up. At least, still green this year. But i still dont know how to mentally process this day. The good thing is that in the middle of the year i just bought a house for investment (remodel and resell after). Still the most safe investment we can make, and yesterday was a remember that we should diverse.
