I am. I have a lot of supplements that I depend on to function and to treat conditions that I have and they can be quite expensive. (Though much cheaper alternative to hospital bills and treatments). So as much as I hate the big A & W, I'll be ordering a bunch of these as soon as we get paid, because they are the only vendors that I've been able to find for much of what I need.

I'm not kidding, one of these supps is usually ~$34, and it will be $10 off. I plan on getting 4.

I have been worried about what will happen if these things become unavailable, so while I hate it, I plan on stocking up to soften the blow of whatever is to come in the next few months. Bonus that I won't have to budget and buy them for a few of months if I work it right.

I'll also be taking advantage of couponing (a casual hobby I've been learning) and rebate apps, to prep for the winter/whatever is going on lol

But anyway, all that to say that while it's not exactly anticonsumption, I'll be participating in BF sales, just not on the things they want me to buy. I won't be getting fancy electronics or toys, I'll be getting batteries and other household essentials, our annual pair of shoes for my bf and me (one pair for each not both lol), my supplements, and backstock foods.

I have never been in the financial position to be able to do this before, so I'm doing it while we can. I'll be using money that we would normally put to savings because I try to think of our physical resources as a kind of savings as well.

I was just wondering if anyone else will be begrudgingly participating this way? Or, if not, how are you handling things?

    TL;DR The title, basically.

(sorry if the flair is not the best one, I wasn't sure which to use)

Anyone else using Black Friday to stock up on boring necessities?
