When those commercials were on in the '80s, I thought they seemed ridiculous. But at some point I read something online and decided to get one on ebay. Eventually I bought a second backup one on ebay. I never particularly liked going for haircuts because a) they usually didn't come out the way that I wanted them to and b) I would leave the place with bits of hair in my earas and collar.
The Flowbee got a boost in popularity during the pandemic. George Clooney talked about using one.
I've saved a boatload of money in 14 years and never have to make an apqpointment, which was another inconvenience.
I am posting this here anonymously, but I don't go around announcing to people that I use a Flowbee. My wife was initially skeptical, but she became a believer.
Edit: My wife doesn't use the Flowbee for herself.
I've been cutting my own hair with a Flowbee for the past 14 years
