I've had canned pineapple and fruit cocktail fruit sitting in my pantry for years with no plans for it, so I found a simple bisquik cobbler recipe to use it up without having to buy anything at the store

    Preheat oven to 375F

Put 21oz of fruit/pie filling in an ungreased 9×9 (I used 2 cans of fruit so mine was wetter

Mix 1 cup bisquik, 1/4 Cup sugar, and 1 cup milk together and pour on fruit, bake for 45 mins

    Top with vanilla ice cream

Honestly it's a strange fruit combo for cobbler, but it's not bad imo so now I have something sweet for the next week ✨️

I just tried making a simple fruit cobbler with some canned fruit we had lying around

Yummy, isn’t it! For a twist, I make Old Fashioned Bread Pudding (add a tablespoon of pie spice) and put canned peaches (drained) in it then bake as usual.

      Congratulations on your win!

    2. I’ve done this when I’ve had too much fresh fruit, too, but I use cake mix. Fruit, cake mix, butter, bake. Even better with vanilla ice cream.

I make a bisquick cobbler but also use eggs and butter. Usually 3 cups bisquick, 3 cups milk, 3 eggs, 1 cup sugar, 1 stick melted butter, vanilla, cinnamon. Pour on the bottom of a greased casserole dish, add the canned fruit on top evenly with juice/syrup. The bisquick bakes up and the fruit goes towards the bottom.
My grandmother used to make it, and I’ve been making it for many years myself.

    4. I like to make a crisp with extra fruit, basically oatmeal, brown sugar, butter ( I like to melt it but ok not melted), cinnamon depending on the fruit. Put it on top of fruit and bake until golden brown.
