I feel like Black Friday is not what it used to be. I recall waiting in long lines to be the first customers in stores where they would have crazy deals/sales that were legit. Does any of these clothing stores still have this, and does anyone know where? Trying to get some great deals so I can avoid spending a lot on Christmas gifts. Mainly looking for clothes, electronics, and kitchen appliances. Thank you!
Which clothing stores have crazy in store black friday deals?

If you are shopping for littles, Carter’s has a bunch of Buy 1, Get 2 Free deals in store. Also available online, though.
I might be wrong, but I feel Black Friday no longer has the deals. From what I’ve seen, the deals are actually prior to the holiday, and Black Friday deals have become subpar
Any deals are generally online as well as in store these days. And before the holiday.
Almost none. Cyber Monday is often better. And many just decided to start their deals early.
Check out Penney’s. I just scored a couple nice bedding items that were very well priced.
None. Prices are raised the weeks before, and dropped the day of. I have worked retail on Black Friday. If you do get a good deal, it’s not something of their regular quality. It’s something made specifically for Black Friday and will be lower quality than usual.
Honestly if you have more specific things (or brands) it’s easier to answer this, at least for me. Most stores don’t have the lines outside anymore because so much of the business has gone online. When you saw lines, online sales weren’t a fraction of what they are now. A lot of clothing stores will at least match their best sales from the year, and each will have some loss leaders. I think I saw Old Navy will have $6 pajama pants for example. Some stuff will be better. I often shop specialty clothing retailers for gifts around this time because I can get the best bang for your buck. Electronics/Kitchen Appliances there are always good deals, but it depends on what and if you have a specific brand in mind. Cyber Monday deals often match Black Friday (though not always 100%) but inventory is skimpier at some places because they’ve sold out. For example, I waited last year to buy one gift and ended up delivering a gift a few days late because I had to wait for a store to restock.
Walmart will drop their sales on Tuesday so you can go a quick glance there then. Target and Best Buy released most (although Target deal of the days might have a one off sale that’s better as we go–the good news is they price adjust). Macys, JCPenny and Kohls did as well so you can check them out. There are reddit pages that have the ad scans if you want to check them out. The hardest is Amazon because they drop new sales daily, but they also take things OFF sale daily.
Black Friday deals are a thing of the past. With globalization, its no different from a “Veterans Day Sale” sale. Buy things you need, not because its on sale. Learn what things are supposed to be priced at, stop relying on xx% sale on price tags. These have been known to be deceptive.
Black Friday is a scam. I’ve also read people aren’t participating in Black Friday this year to show how upset they are with our current situation or something like that
Was searching on google with my usual “need this thing reddit” and came across this post. Every reply you got was of no help at all lmao. Only one I know of right now is 80% off Fabletics for new vip members and it’s free to sign up but they will charge you every month unless you skip or cancel. I am not a new member so it’s only 60% for me.
