Would not at all shock me if we get hit with a brutal recession next year that the media will portray as coming out of nowhere instead of as a direct result of Trump’s dopey policies.

You clearly don’t pay much attention to business news. They’ve been warning of an impending recession at least once a week for the past 3 or 4 years or so.
Um, the brutal recession is already here. Go to your local food bank and take a good look around.

We’re already in a recession, been for longer than Trump Part 2 imo.
The idea that this all just started with Trump is the dopey part. The screwing that the working class has been getting for decades is firmly bipartisan.
I guess I just imagined that the last 4 years were filled with more financial hardship than I’ve known before……..
Small business cut jobs. Medium to large businesses added jobs. Who is really going to create much with all the uncertainty.
Some really worring signals are appearing. Japan’s 30-year yields are at very high levels and continue to rise. It might drain liquidity from US stocks by Japanese investors, creating a dump short or mid term. Repo market also does’t look promising when looking at data.
spending on holiday season keeps chugging along. It seems like the chasm between wealthy/upper middle class who own stocks and assets are keeping everything afloat right now.
If the market crashes, buckle up.
