Who created the ACA, and when voted on at its creation, what was the promise? Extending this funding does nothing to fix the problem, just pushes it down the road.
By ending this funding, it forces real solutions for real problems…
Definition of idiocy… Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result…

Here’s the issue nobody wants to discuss. This is the smallest of the issues when it comes to healthcare. Making it affordable for those that aren’t employed or under employed. Look at those that are employed that their costs have gone up as much or more. What was a PPO is now a tier 1 and tier 2 with different large deductibles. So, costs you $1000-1500 a month for the insurance. Then you have the $10,000 deductible.
Thats after companies absorbing the majority of the increases since Obamacare.
This was the design of Obamacare. To break the system to turn it into a government single pay system. If you live near affluent areas. You see private health facilities. That’s for the rich people that pay cash when they need a doctor. They have catastrophic coverage only. They can negotiate cash prices. We can’t.

I do hope instead of giving the subsidies to the insurance companies they give them to the people like the republicans are proposing.

These are Covid subsidies that were passed as temporary measures due to the pandemic? Are we still in the middle of the pandemic, or should these temporary subsidies never have been passed as temporary to begin with?

Do you mean that they ended the plan extending the emergency covid stimulus funds?

Interesting considering some of them are up for re-election in 2026. That should be interesting.
