Hey everyone,

I’m running a small part-time e-commerce setup and honestly didn’t want to bother building a full website just to start taking payments.
I’ve been using simple payment links (through GoSolo, but there are other options too), and it’s been surprisingly smooth.. share a link, get paid, done. No checkout plugins, no hosting, no endless setup.
Curious if anyone else here runs their business this way? Do you think skipping a website limits your credibility or growth in the long run, or is it actually a leaner way to test ideas before investing in a full storefront? Would love to hear what tools others are using for direct payment links or quick online invoicing.

Payment links without a website .. anyone else doing this?

Same! I’m doing handmade jewelry sales part-time and just use GoSolo payment links. Clients pay through the link, and that’s it.. no website stress, no maintenance… Works totally fine.

    2. In Canada it’s pretty common to have interact transfer as a payment method. Which is pretty much the same thing but directly with bank account

    3. I use Stripe Payment Link. And using API to link it to my order purchase. Website is like when have you visited a website to buy things. Websites create hustle to even promote.

If you have a solid visitor I would statt with social media + payment link.
