Hey all, I’ve been helping test a chemical alternative to hot oiling on a 10,400 ft well. It increased production from around 3 bbl/day to 10–18 bbl/day and has stayed consistent for 90+ days.
I’m curious how others would go about connecting with operators who might be interested in testing something like this. Are there common ways people find the right contacts or get demo opportunities in the field?
I’d appreciate any guidance or insights on reaching operators without a big network in the industry.
Paraffin buildup on mature wells — how do you reach operators?

Did you figure out your completely unrelated post you already made today didnt work as a sales lead prompt?
I had a buddy set up a chemical alternative that he said was about as successful. He ran wireline and had existing MSAs with plenty of operators. He swears to this day that Halliburton threatened operators if they used it, said they would not provide other services. So they never hired him on. I always thought he was full of crap so I’m wondering if you’ll have anything remotely similar happen.
There’s still a bunch of small time operators out there who operate old wells that spend a fortune on hot oil. Just start making phone calls to smaller outfits in your area of operation.
Why do you want to demo? Why not just market? Most operators use chemicals companies to handle all their chemical needs.
Look up “oilfield chemical companies.” Send them a sample with a COA, SDS (informational materials) and a business card. Or call up their business office and say you want to submit a sample. They will get you in touch with the lab.
If you really want to demo- idk anyone who has time for the razzle dazzle. Better to get your chemicals in the door and if it works, you won’t have a problem.
Is it similar ro microbes or Enercat? I think there are some magnets for this as well.
Will we get a cut of sales for helping you test a product?
If I send you wax will you have it tested before I place your chemistry in the well?
Is this like all other wax dispersants?
Was this work done on a well without chemo being pumped?
Can you give a full outline of what was done and step there before prod increase?
