Hi everyone, I’m an international student from Ghana currently living in Dubai. I recently received an offer from Murdoch University Dubai for a Diploma of Business, but I’m stuck financially.

I have no family support and no savings at the moment. I’ve learned that UAE banks generally don’t offer student loans to international students without a guarantor, and the university doesn’t provide internal loans either. Visa assistance only starts after paying the acceptance/deposit fee, which I can’t afford right now.

I’m trying to figure out the smartest next step without putting myself into risky debt.
Has anyone been in a similar situation and found:
    • Legit education loans for international students without guarantors?
    • Universities that allow pay-after-arrival, installment plans, or strong scholarships?
    • Advice on whether deferring an offer is better than letting it go?

I’m open to other countries (Germany, Hungary, Malaysia, etc.) and just want realistic advice from people who’ve been through this.

Thanks in advance — I’d really appreciate any guidance.
